AI for the plant floor, built from the exports you already have.

A 3D digital twin of the plant floor. An OEE line board. A test station board. Three working prototypes an E&E plant team builds in two days, live on this page. Click them before you book anything.

Three boards a plant asks for, built in the room.

Every one of these runs on synthetic data, regenerated on each load, and was built by describing the board in plain language. They are what participants build on Day 1 and Day 2 of the programme, on their own laptops.

Digital Twin: Plant Floor Twin

A 3D PCBA hall the shape of a real one: two SMT lines into one shared magazine, a THT cell with cobots and an operator, selective solder, depanel, banks of ICT and FCT testers, an off-line rework loop, a manual box-build U-cell, pack and ship. Change staffing, testers, panelisation or breaks and watch WIP pile up before the meeting that decides the layout.

Built from
The process sheet: zones, stations, cycle times, yield, resources per station.
The question it answers
If we add one FCT tester or one box-build operator, where does the queue form, and which one pays back first?
Try this
Drag to orbit. Run one SMT line instead of two, then put four boards on a panel instead of two. The bottleneck moves, and the table underneath names it.

OEE Line Board

Availability, performance and quality by line and shift. The six big losses ranked. A downtime log you can filter. The board a plant manager reads at the morning meeting, built in one afternoon instead of a BI project.

Built from
A machine log export: one CSV from the line's counter or SCADA, as it comes out today.
The question it answers
Which line, which shift, which of the six big losses, and what did downtime cost this week?
Try this
Switch the shift, then open the downtime log: the number on the tile is the sum of the rows behind it. That check is the first thing the training teaches.

Test Station Board

Station status by day and hour, four area summary tiles, a weekly occupancy view and booking detail. The whiteboard outside the test area, as a board the planner and the test engineer both read, built from a written spec in ninety minutes.

Built from
The booking sheet the test team already keeps, plus a one-paragraph written requirement.
The question it answers
Which burn-in, ICT, FCT and RF stations are free at 14:00 on Thursday, and which ones sit idle all week?
Try this
Scrub the hour, then open a dedicated station: the booking detail is the same row the planner typed.

The ladder

One prototype per rung of the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index.

The spine is the acatech Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index (Schuh et al., 2017, updated 2020): Computerisation, Connectivity, Visibility, Transparency, Predictive capacity, Adaptability. Most plants have the first two rungs and measure themselves against the next four. Here each rung is a prototype, built from an export the plant already has.

Train the team

Engineers, planners and managers build all three prototypes themselves on sample data, then a capstone on a problem from their own area. No coding background. Onsite anywhere in Malaysia or online. HRD Corp claimable for eligible employers.

AI Operations Audit · 2 weeks · RM 5,000 to 8,00002

Audit the plant

Which exports exist, which boards are still Excel files, which what-ifs are still meetings. Waste quantified in ringgit, a recommended stack, a roadmap. The audit fee is credited toward the build if you proceed.

Build the connected version

The OEE board that reads the machine log every night. The station board the test team updates live. The twin your planners run before every layout change. Built on your data, with the handover documents IT needs, then maintained under a monthly retainer if you want it kept current.

Questions plants ask first.

Can AI build an OEE dashboard without a developer?

Yes, as a working prototype. In the training, a process engineer with no coding background describes the board in plain language, points the AI assistant at a sample machine log export, and has availability, performance, quality and the six big losses on screen within the afternoon. The OEE line board on this page was built that way. A production version that reads the live machine log every night is a build engagement, not a training exercise.

What is a plant floor digital twin and what does it need?

A simulation of the hall: zones, stations, cycle times, yield and resources per station, with WIP moving through it. It needs the process sheet, nothing from the MES. The twin on this page models a PCBA hall with two SMT lines, THT, ICT and FCT test banks, rework, box build and pack-and-ship, and answers staffing, tester and panelisation what-ifs before the meeting that decides the layout.

Is the training HRD Corp claimable?

Vibe Coding for E&E Operations is offered as HRD Corp claimable for eligible Malaysian employers. We prepare the course outline, trainer profile and quotation documents for your claim submission. Confirm the exact registered programme and applicable conditions with us before you submit.

What data does the team need to bring?

Nothing confidential. The three prototypes run on sample data we generate. For the capstone, each participant brings one non-confidential export from their own area: a shift log, a booking sheet, a process sheet. Production MES, SPC or ERP data never goes into an AI tool during the training.

Is a prototype the same as production software?

No, and the training is explicit about the line. A prototype answers a question and gets the requirement right; the room can click it, argue with it and sign off the spec. Production software needs a data connection, access control, backups, a maintainer and IT's approval. Module 8 of the programme covers what the production version would take, so nobody ships a demo to the shop floor by accident.

Can you run this for a plant in Penang, Johor or Melaka?

Yes. Every programme runs onsite anywhere in Malaysia or online as a live virtual session with breakout rooms. Online runs suit plants with people across sites; onsite runs suit a single plant that wants the room together.

Bring one export. Leave with the board.

Get the two-day outline, share it with the plant, then tell us which boards are still Excel files.
