Vibe Coding for E&E Operations

Two hands-on days where engineers, planners and managers describe a problem from their own line in plain language and leave with a working prototype: an OEE board, a plant floor twin, a station status board, built on realistic production data. No coding background required. The two days climb the Industrie 4.0 maturity ladder your plant already measures itself against, one prototype per rung. The point is not the code. It is the clarity that comes from turning a requirement into something the room can click on by Tuesday afternoon.

Who this is for

Mixed teams in an electrical and electronics manufacturing environment: process and test engineers, production planners, quality, industrial engineering, supervisors, and the managers they report to. Both technical and non-technical participants. People who have requirements they have never managed to get built: the dashboard that is still an Excel file, the status board that is still a whiteboard, the what-if that is still a meeting. Onsite or online.

What your team will build

  • A working method for vibe coding: describe, build, test, refine, practised on four prototypes of their own, with the habit of checking the numbers before trusting the screen
  • An OEE line board built from a sample machine log: availability, performance, quality, the six big losses, and a downtime log, filterable by line and shift
  • A plant floor twin of a PCBA hall: two SMT lines into one back-end, THT, test banks, rework, box build, pack and ship, where you change staffing, testers or panelisation and watch where the queue forms before the meeting that decides the layout
  • A one-page spec for a real workflow from their own area: users, inputs, outputs, rules, done-when, the document that makes the handover to IT clean
  • A capstone prototype of their own problem, demonstrated to the room with the before/after and the business case
  • Your plant on the Industrie 4.0 ladder: which rung each problem sits on (see it, explain it, predict it, act on it) and the prototype that climbs the next one
  • A clear line between what a prototype is for and what production software needs, so nobody ships a demo to the shop floor by accident

The curriculum

  1. 01Day 1, base camp (define): what vibe coding is and is not, first build in the first ten minutes, where your plant sits on the ladder70 min
  2. 02Day 1, base camp (define): map one real process, write the one-page spec, name its rung105 min
  3. 03Day 1, rung 3 Visibility (measure): build the OEE line board from a machine log export105 min
  4. 04Day 1, rung 4 Transparency (analyse): drill into the six big losses, test with ugly data, trust the number70 min
  5. 05Day 2, rung 5 Predictive capacity (improve): build the plant floor twin and run the staffing, tester and panelisation what-ifs90 min
  6. 06Day 2, rung 6 Adaptability (improve): the test station board from a written requirement, and the agentic build90 min
  7. 07Day 2, your rung: capstone sprint on your own Day 1 spec90 min
  8. 08Day 2, control: showcase, business value, what production would take75 min

How much does this programme cost?

We quote this programme based on group size, delivery and customisation. Your quotation confirms the fee and whether software licences, travel and any applicable taxes are included. The separate RM 10,500/day AI Transformation Programme is a different offer.

Is this programme HRD Corp claimable?

This programme is offered as HRD Corp claimable for eligible Malaysian employers. Confirm the exact registered programme and applicable conditions with us before submitting an application. We provide the course outline, trainer profile and quotation documents.

What should participants prepare?

A laptop, a paid Claude plan (Pro or Team) or the AI assistant your IT approves; a browser, no installs, and a non-sensitive example of the work they want to improve. We confirm account access and IT requirements before delivery.

Can you tailor the exercises?

Yes. Tell us about the team's roles, tools, experience and desired output. We agree the exercises and scope before confirming the programme.
